My mom was in the Lexington Trace Floor until she passed. The staff did what they could due to not being prperly staffed. People Iin this areaneed more attention than others within the facility. Ratio needs to be worked on. Dad is in Spences Point and has constantly complained about nobody doing any services he needs. However, when I go the staff is slways friendly and will do everything they can to accommodate your request. Just remember, if you think you can do a better job than the staff, then you should consider keeping your loved one at home yourself. Cheif complai t from me would be thst our seniors deserve to have privacy of a private room and nobody should have semi-private rooms. This should be blamed on the STATE snd not the facility.

Terrible do not go here! We came to visit my Mother in law following day after moving to rehab from knee surgery. We walk in room to find her in front of a tray of food slumped speech slurred and one side of face drooping with only a shirt and brief on! Nurse said she thought it was result of pain med we said we think she’s had a stroke. After much discussion they finally called ambulance in retrospect I don’t know why we questioned ourselves. now my mother-in-law cannot walk or feed herself. She was living in an independent living facility and doing all daily activities on her own before. no one even noticed or made any move to act until we insisted they do so. it breaks my heart. This place should be closed down.

If zero or negative number was a choice, this is what I’d give them. They absolutely do not care about the residents there. The place reeks of urine/feces; use of restraints under the guise of preventing falls, which is illegal; residents not being turned every two hours to prevent pressure ulcers; residents laying in soiled adult briefs/wet line entire shifts; and residents going untreated for infections acquired in their facility. If you care anything about your loved one, do NOT place them at this facility, Don’t know how they are still accredited to provide care to anything.

My daughter has been a patient resident since 1998 with primary diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis, she has a Ostomy bag since 2015 and though EC claims to be a skilled nursing facility, they do NOT have staff personnel who can apply a proper seal to the bag. On average the bag leaks 4 or 5 times per week. Cleanliness is not in ther vocabulary, see photo where a wipe f soaked with feces is laid onto patient’s place Matt that she eats her food from. There are countless incidents all documented where negligence and incompetence breeds. I had Omsbudsman office to evaluate and my cat could have done a better service. I coordinated a training sessions in collaboration with the hospital where my daughter was used to train the EC staff, NO FOLLOW UP WAS EVER DONE. I’m at the point I do not know wher

Worst experience of my life. Food was terrible, had diarhea for 9 weeks and developed bed sores. Became sick on Friday before Labor Day and was sick all weekend. I kept asking to see a doctor but no doctor on duty over the holiday. After suffering Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday , doctor was back on Tuesday and I was sent to hospital by ambulance and spent a week in the hospital with diverticulitis. The physical and occupational therapy was good. Everything else was awful. I was bed ridden when I first arrived and it would be a minimum of 30-60 minutes for help to come to your aid after you pressed the call button.
