If you want a counselor who truly cares about you, I can't recommend Lewisville Family Counseling enough! They have diverse counselors who specialize in everything from family to grief to LGBT. They make it a point to be in the community and learn what the needs are. They are such a nice team and their office manager does a wonderful job connecting clients to a counselor who would be the best fit.

I can't say enough positive things about Lewisville Family Counseling! Navigating the mental health care sphere can be intimidating, confusing, and frustrating at times, but LFC is committed to providing compassionate care to every person who contacts the office. Every therapist I have interacted with has been empathetic and made me feel like they truly cared about what I had to say. Kim (the office manager) is so friendly and helpful and takes the time to get to know you to place you with a therapist who would best fit your unique therapeutic needs. I love that LFC has so many different therapists who specialize in various issues and client populations so you can find someone who works with your individual needs. Not to mention the fact that they offer sessions with master's level interns

Called for nearly 4 weeks straight to get a.consultaion multiple times. Noone answered the phone and when calling back voicemail stated the receptionist would be gone for a week so again no person called back or helped. We received one call back from the initial voicemail and nothing for weeks after that. I did reach someone this week and explained to her how long I had been trying to make an appointment and she advised me that they basically "dont sit by the phone" very rude and completely not empathetic for a counseling office? I was shocked and thankful for this response becauae It made it clear this is not th3 place for my family. Seems like this is a pattern becauae i got the same response from the recwptionist as another reviewer here. Do better.
