Animal Hospital of Lewisville

I highly recommend Animal House of Lewisville. I have been a customer for several years, and recently, my sweet 14-year-old dog, Maggie, passed away after a battle with cancer. Dr. Allgood was incredible; she caught the cancer during a regular checkup, and thanks to her care and the proper treatment, Maggie was able to live another six months mostly pain-free. It is so difficult to lose a beloved pet, but I am incredibly thankful for that extra time to prepare and say goodbye. When the end finally came, the staff was wonderful in helping prevent Maggie from suffering, and her final visit could not have been handled with more dignity or compassion. I want to give a huge shout out to Animal Hospital of Lewisville. My dog had not eaten for two days, but did not show any other signs of illness. My regular vet was booked up for days, and could not fit me in. After numerous calls to other vets, I found Animal Hospital of Lewisville. Even though they were also very busy, they squeezed me in (same day). The staff could not have been nicer! They gave my dog a thorough check-up, and ran bloodwork (on site). I even got a follow-up text the next morning to check on my dog's progress. Prices were very reasonable for urgent care. This place is wonderful! Highly recommend!

So glad they were open during the snow storm to help us with our puppy. A great alternative to the expensive emergency vet. They addressed Lucy's issues immediately and 24 hours later she seems to be back to herself. Thank you for being there and the great care.

If I could give this place more than five stars I would. We had found out last week that our fur baby had pyometra. The place that had told us let us know that it would be between 5 to $7,000 for her surgery. My son and I were very devastated and neither of us had that kind of money laying around. So Friday, Saturday, and Monday literally called what feels like hundreds of Vets to help. On Monday husband had found one that would do it for a reasonable price that we could afford and she was scheduled for surgery the next day. However they had called the morning of the surgery and had to cancel it. So now we were once again devastated. Back to making phone calls. My baby was literally hanging on to life by a thread. We’re from out of town (Chicago) and I so wish this was our home vet because everyone here was absolutely lovely. They got my pup in last minute and treated her like we’ve been going there for years. I love my little girl to death so walking into a place that immediately took care of her just as well as I would is any pet owner/parent’s dream. Thank you guys for your hospitality and love. 😇🥰
