Just moved to the area 4 months ago and needed a dentist. They are convenient and I read several great reviews. Now that I have been, I agree with them. You feel welcome the minute you walk in the door all the way to the end when you see Dr. Heaton. My husband will be going next and I already have my 6 month check-up scheduled.

For years I was a patient of Dr Heaton when she was a dentist at another practice in Rowlett. When she decided to start her own practice in Leonard I was both very happy for her but a bit disappointed as well. It's very difficult to find a dentist you can trust and sincerely cares about their patients. While the new dentist they assigned to me was perfectly fine, I never quite felt the same way. Even though Leonard is a longer drive from my home, I decided to go back to Dr. Heaton for my dental needs...glad I did as I feel more comfortable and confident that she has my best interests at heart. I highly recommend Dr. Heaton and her team for your dental needs.

Leonard Smiles is a place where quality care happens. All providers are friendly and knowledgeable. I learned many new tips and suggestions for taking care of my teeth, even at my young old age. I had no doubt I was receiving the most professional care. The only thing I struggled with was the out-of-pocket charges I had to pay. Dr. Heaton took the time to explain how my insurance worked and how the coverage has changed for 2026. Still not easy, but I appreciated her time and care.

My entire extended family go to Dr Heaton. I have never heard a complaint from any of them. As for myself and husband we love her. She is kind and funny as well as being very professional. Dr. Heaton and her staff always take such good care of our whole family! The hygienists are great with kids (even young, hard to wrangle ones!), and the office is clean and comfortable. We recommend Leonard Smiles to everyone who lives nearby!
