I have bought two pair of glasses for significantly higher price than my other pairs. After less than a year using them, the lenses started peeling and cracking. The filter they use on the plastic lens is such a low quality that I have never seen such a thing in my life before even after using the same pairs over 5 years. I have reached out to them on Facebook, they never responded. I tried to reach outon their website, it's not possible to send the message (it simply doesn't work to let you send the message). Overpriced for bad quality service. Attached some examples of what the lenses look like after 8 months of semi regular use (as these aren't my only pairs).
I've never had a problem with lenscrafters until yesterday 2/13/26. Come to find out, Lenscrafters is in the business of scamming. They tried to get an extra $219 out of me which made me angry. When they offer extra services to your glasses, if you say yes to anything, they automatically charge you the high standard option instead of giving you the choices of all three options, and making you aware of what your insurance fully covers. Now I already was aware that I could get progressive and transitional lens without coming out of pocket, so when they tried to throw a tab on me, I called my insurance company. Now I had her on speaker during the call, and the employee heard everything and he heard that my insurance covered the low standard in full. SOOO, then the employee still tried to get
My glasses absolutely shattered while visiting my family near this location. Ken Picked up the phone and it was immediately helpful and understanding and kind. He helped me so efficiently and swiftly and help me get the best deal. He turned a stressful situation into an easy fix and Leonard was Very kind and helpful and helping me adjust the new frames . Highly recommend this location!
Although the doctors were very responsible and professional (5-star for the clinical care), my overall experience was disappointing due to a lack of transparency around insurance and services. When I called receptionist prior to my visit, I was told that my Cigna insurance was accepted. However, after completing the exam and being presented with the bill, I learned that the provider is actually out-of-network and not affiliated with LensCrafters. As a result, I was charged out-of-network rates, which was unexpected. (LensCrafter is my in-network provider). More concerning is that despite not being affiliated with LensCrafters, the office still follows a policy of withholding the PD (pupillary distance) measurement unless glasses are purchased through LensCrafters. Since PD is part of the
want to give a huge thank you to Kenneth at the Livingston LensCrafters. He was absolutely amazing! From the start, he was incredibly patient, kind, and respectful of my space. I tried on quite a few pairs of glasses, and not once did he rush or pressure me—he just let me take my time, which I really appreciated. In the end, I decided to update the lenses on one of my old frames instead of buying new ones. I explained to Kenneth that I’ve been having a hard time driving at night because of glare and bright headlights, and he went above and beyond to help. He took the time to research and found a new type of anti-glare coating that would help with my sensitivity. He even showed me different options for transitional lenses to make sure I was completely comfortable. Kenneth’s professionalis
