Legent Orthopedic Hospital Carrollton

My mom had surgery with Dr. Patel twice once in October and another in February at the Carrollton Location which I am also a nurse. I would 100% recommend Dr. Patel for any hand, wrist or shoulder surgery as I have seen his patients and he has always been courteous to the nursing staff. From the time my mom met with him she was impressed. His bedside manner and care for his patients is astronomical. When my mom arrived to Legent the pre-op nurses were so caring towards her, Maria and Karen went the extra mile as they always do. Derrick the anesthesia tech put my mind at ease and looked after my mom in surgery. Legent Orthopedic Hospital Carrollton was awesome. The staff and doctors were great! I really felt that I received excellent care during my stay there. It was a great experience. My knee isn’t the best and could be better I feel. I did enjoy my time there to say I was in a hospital. Thank you to all the staff and doctors that were involved in my care on any part big and small. The food was good as well. Again, thank you all!

I had bunion surgery today with Dr. Kane. He truly is the best! This is my second surgery with him and the first one Dec 2024 was a hard one but I knew from the beginning it would be. Dr. Kane is truly dedicated to the work he does. I hope he knows what a gift he is to his patients and how much he is appreciated. The nurses, anesthesiologist and all the staff at Legent were amazing! I truly felt like they really cared for my comfort and well being. Just want to say Thank You so much! I hope I won’t need anymore surgeries but if I do I hope it will be at legent.

I had this review pending from my surgery 08/19. We arrived at 6am to be greeted by the person with best energy and enormous smile; Amaya! My nerves were literally shot and she really made it easy to sign in. Thank you Amaya for your positive energy!! I tried breaking the ice with my "Sorry ladies this guy is getting married" Phylicia came to take me to get me ready for my surgery. Honestly wonderful and attentive to my needs even when my veins did not cooperate at all for the IV. Honestly I can't remember much who found a working line to get me to sleep but who ever it was THANK YOU!!! The service from the doctors and nurses was absolutely amazing, hospitality was the best I have ever received! The billing process is absolutely terrible however. I paid the remaining amount of my out of pocket cost back in July but they did not process the claim until September so my doctor and anesthesiologist had submitted their claims before them causing me to owe them and not the hospital my full out of pocket cost. I have yet to receive my refund to pay the other claims as I don’t want to be out the money twice. It’s now November and have yet to receive it. I have called many times I just receive the same answer it’s in process. At this point I’m owed the interest they are earning on my funds. If they ask you to pay the full out of pocket cost for service DONT as they take forever t
