I recently underwent major neck surgery at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center, and I cannot express enough how exceptional the staff was throughout the entire experience. Every single person I encountered helped put me at ease and worked to calm my nerves before the procedure, which was especially important since I have a serious fear of needles. Nick and Ashley were incredibly kind and patient, doing everything they could to keep me comfortable. My anesthesiologist, Dr. Kloss, was equally thoughtful and reassuring, and I’m deeply grateful for the care and professionalism that helped the process go so smoothly. My overnight stay was just as positive. The nurses provided attentive, round the clock care that made me feel truly supported. I’m so thankful for the entire team at Legacy Emanuel Med

Recently recommended a family member to come here for severe pain on a Saturday. It's always hard to wait for several hours for medical attention or for room availability. Once in, my family members have gotten amazing and thorough attention. There are doctors that really do care. I also recommend Randall's children's hospital next door. They are both filled with caring doctors and nurses.

Went into the ER and they were putting patients in the halls because they were out of rooms. I was left there for at least 5 hours because they couldn't figure out why my urine looked like I had a bad infection but the tests were negative. Funny, because I had mentioned repeatedly that I had taken Azo. This makes your urine orange/red. I mentioned to every person who attended me. They also had me confirm my personal information, while I was under duress, infront of a patient that kept harassing the staff that came to attend me, which is multiple HIPPA violation. Then, they proceeded to violate my patient rights and administer a pregnancy test when I made mention that I did not want one. There was no way that I was pregnant. When I got the bill and found out they charged me for this test I

The emergency room here is full of people who are clearly overworked and lack empathy for the patients coming in to receive medical attention. They will dehumanize you and make you feel less than. If you think you're gonna get a room, think again! You will be forgotten about and seated in the hallway for the entirety of your visit. I highly recommend you go anywhere else besides here if you value being treated with dignity and respect.

The surgeons are great but the hospital is terrible. Ask you surgeon if the can perform surgery at a different hospital. They're currently under medicating my fiance after an OPEN HEART surgery. She has been told that she doesn't look painful and her anxiety isn't causing any shortness of breath. Half the nurses barely know how to give meds. Most of the hospitalists are arrogant and don't communicate. You can make a plan with your morning physician and have the nurses decide how much of the plan they want to stick with. My fiance is in pain, not an addict, and was just told that she seemed okay when she asked for her full prescribed dose. She has also been having a discussion about acute anxiety and a rescue dose of a medication she is prescribed for 4 hours. They put a calming music chann
