LCMC Health Urgent Care - Kenner

I had never been to an urgent care for myself before, but yesterday I was sure I need to go. I am an LCMC patient so I went to the LCmc Urgent Care onW. Esplanade in Kenner. I was the only one in the waiting room so I checked in right away. I had a bit of a wait..but not extreme. Several others came in after me and a couple of them were seen before me..but I'm sure there was a reason. The aide that first brought me in the room was very nice, took my pulse, blood pressure and temp. Then she said the nurse would be in son...and a short time later she was. She seemed very caring, asked several questions, told me I had shingles ( even though I had all 3 shingles vaccines ) and ordered some mods. She also told me if I needed anything later to call them. The place was very clean...and

It takes forever even with an appointment. ...when they actually choose to honor an appointment. The receptionist usually chooses to ignore appointments and do first come first serve. The receptionist was more concerned about smacking on food than taking care of people trying to check in. When I asked how far behind they were running, she began to complain to people in the waiting room that I asked her that. Unprofessional.

Hello Everyone. I had to go to our LCMC Health Urgent Care in Kenner, La. I was trying to treat myself with OTC medicine. But everything I did, did not work. So, I knew I needed help. I spoke with the Receptionist, the Nurse and the Doctor. I took a test and yep I was correct. I was giving a prescription and was told what I needed to do. EVERYONE AT THE LCMC URGENT CARE WAS VERY NICE AND PROFESSIONAL. If you need help Urgent Care is the place to go. I am giving Urgent Care 5 stars. Thank You for help me. I am getting better.

The woman at the check in desk was very pleasant w/a kind demeanor. Although it seemed she was getting over an illness it didn’t affect her ability to be sweet. The Physician Assistant that assisted me was very welcoming and had a great bedside manner. I had a pleasant experience.

When I was finally able to get my Zoom meeting, it all went well and I got what I needed. But the Zoom meeting set up was difficult, and the only reason I was able to get it to work is that I have experience with Zoom from work. Your average person would probably not have been able to connect.
