LCMC Health Urgent Care - Chalmette

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Doctor’s Visit! My recent visit to LCMC URGENT CARE in CHALMETTE was outstanding in every way. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, efficient, and welcoming. The office was spotless and comfortable, the restroom was fresh and clean creating a calm atmosphere. The doctor took time to listen, explain everything clearly, and made me feel completely at ease. I never felt rushed, and all my questions were answered thoroughly. Every part of my visit—from check-in to checkout—was a perfect 10. I highly recommend this office for exceptional care and professionalism!

Great service. Scheduled an appointment the same day. Very clean and modern office design. The office was decorated for Mardi Gras and each room had a different New Orleans street name. Our nurse was Felicia and our NP/dr was Dr. Guidry. Every contact we had at this urgent care exceeded our expectations, even at the front desk with Shannon. The vibe of this business was wonderful. My son is 18 and sometimes it is a tricky balance between this age because of privacy practices. But everyone met the mark by communicating effectively with both him as a young adult and me as a parent. The conversations that they had with him showed that they valued him as a patient and gave him his own independence as a young adult. The absolute best care I've ever gotten at an urgent care, ever. I was in Nola traveling for work and got hit with a double whammy of the flu and strep, feverish, shivering, dosing off, throat so inflamed I could barely speak to the physicians during my appointment. From the front desk check-in to the attending nurse and the doctor, they really took the best care of me - everyone was efficient, attentive, thoughtful, kind...above and beyond. They didn't waste time, didn't ask me unnecessary redundant questions, didn't treat me like another hour of their day, etc. The healthcare system rarely feels like a human experience but this was CARE. Seen Quickly & Received Great Care I visited the urgent care for an allergic reaction to wasp stings. I was checked in quickly and called back to be seen in under 5 minutes. The nurse practitioner who saw me asked thorough questions and listened well to my answers. She determined what I needed to treat my swelling, pain and itching, and quickly administered treatment and gave me a Rx. She also recommended an epipen proactively in case my next allergic reaction to a sting was even worse, which I really appreciated. I appreciated how pleasant and thorough the entire experience was. Very professional and easy on the patient.

Dr. Kelly Thibodeaux, NP, made our experience perfect. We’ve never had to use urgent care with our toddler, so I was apprehensive. Dr. Kelly came in; she sang and interacted beautifully with our fussy 2 year old. Extra grateful for her bedside manner. Wait time, appt and testing were rapid.
