LaTour Eye Care

I love Latour Eye Care. They have a very friendly and helpful staff EVERY TIME I go in there. Dr. Latour makes me laugh and Like me, Is a dog lover himself. Terry was very helpful in making my eye glasses a perfect fit and comfortable so I can wear them every day. He also let me keep my previous frames and just replaced the lenses so now I will have 2 pairs to rotate out. The young ladies up front went above and beyond to find the frames I originally purchased from them because I loved them so much. This is the second time I’ve used them and plan on using them again next year as well. Thank you Dr. Latour and staff for letting me realize how clear things really should look 👀!

I've called several times decided to stop in. Tried to get my husband a appt. Was told they aren't taking new patients. Ok some places do this but then to tell me if we have a friend or family member that are patients there they would take my husband. I told them no thank you I'll go some place else where u dont have to no someone who knows someone to get a appt . Sad have to drive to Gainesville or lake city instead of keeping it local. This is why ppl dont keep it local at times.

I thought the staff were nice, helpful and I didn’t have to wait long to be seen by the doctor. It was first time going to this eye doctor and I was completely satisfied when I left their office. I have been seeing the same eye doctor for 30 years, but traveling 4 hours to my hometown isn't always convenient, so I wanted to find someone local. I've tried a few other places over the years, but nothing felt right. Impatient doctors who made me feel like I was wasting their time, rude staff, etc. Dr. LaTour, though, is wonderful. I was super nervous to go in to my appointment, but the woman I spoke with on the phone was very friendly and polite and pleasant. When I arrived, everything was very clean and I was taken back quickly. Dr. LaTour explained everything as he went, which made me feel really comfortable and safe. Been dealing with them for 20 years spend thousands of dollars. Have always put up with their rudeness and sarcasm and their strange hours, because they were local. I needed an emergency exam for my drivers license and was told I would have to wait three weeks. With in 15 minutes found another place 25 miles away that could do everything in one day, and at a better price. Do your self a favor and drive a bit further for true service with a smile and no attitude. JC High Springs
