Latham Oral Surgery – Capital District Oral Surgeons

Two days after having my wisdom teeth removed, I noticed a fairly significant chip on the front/top of my canine tooth. When I called to ask about it, they confidently explained—without ever seeing the tooth—that I must have chipped it myself while numb. Apparently, because I woke up five times during the procedure and was therefore heavily sedated, I somehow managed to chip it myself on gauze, pudding, milkshakes, etc. Impressively, they also assured me that although my wisdom teeth were only an inch or two away, they went “nowhere near” my canine teeth, so it definitely couldn’t have been caused by an instrument.

I had an especially traumatic experience in a dental chair 30 yrs ago, making it nearly impossible for me to even walk into a dental office without shaking and crying, since. I'm so thankful to have found this office, where the entire staff listened to my fears, patiently talked me through them, and successfully extracted/grafted my tooth (iv sedation). I couldn't believe how calm I was, going back for my re-check appointment, and I actually look forward to completing the implant process.

I recently had a tooth extracted by Dr. Delgado and his team, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the care I received. From start to finish, everyone made me feel comfortable, informed, and genuinely cared for. Dr. Delgado was incredibly professional and calming — he explained everything clearly before the procedure and made the actual extraction quick and nearly painless. Anna, who assisted during the removal, was so kind and attentive, helping me stay relaxed throughout. Kimberly at the front desk was also wonderful — friendly, organized, and made the check-in and follow-up process easy and stress-free. Dental procedures can be intimidating, but this team made it a smooth, reassuring experience. I truly felt like I was in the best hands. Thank you all for your exceptional care!

The staff at Capital District Oral Surgeons is professional and kind. My extraction was surprisingly gentle. Dr. Delgado worked patiently and carefully. The staff communicated clearly and politely to the doctor, each other and with patients. The gentle humor used in the office set me at ease. From the first call the representative was so helpful (wish I could remember her name) to walking in the door of the Latham office Kim and Andrea were so welcoming. Noelle was a gem from the first visit and was wonderful during my daughter’s surgery. My daughter said Amy was great at putting in her IV and super sweet. Dr. Delgado was great.
