Lancaster General Health Urgent Care Ephrata

The ladies here are amazing! From the Front Desk, Nurse, Doctor, X-Ray Tech, they are all so kind, patient, competent, thorough and caring. Only thing I will recommend, is if they give you the option where to go for an orthopedic, pick OAL.

Front desk was super friendly and even got us water, but the PA and the nurse assistant was too pushy for a UA. We were there from out of town and definitely felt very rushed and unwelcome. I do not recommend.

We’re from NJ and my son came down with a fever while on vacation. I wish we had an Urgent Care like this one closer to home. They were super friendly and professional and we were in and out quickly. The only issue is that they called in my son’s prescription in wrong and they didn’t even prescribe him enough medication for 2 days when he needed it for 4-5 days. Caused a big issue with insurance and we had to pay completely out of pocket for what he should’ve gotten initially. Huge headache

Visiting from out of state and needed to confirm that they would take my insurance. Reception desk mail was extremely polite, helpful, kind, professional, etc. I waited about 15 minutes was called back by a very competent nurse who listened to what I had to say checked out the medications I was on, Gave me a quick directions to a local CVS if I needed a pharmacy. Very warm and caring. Dr. Tom came and listened again to my issues. Ask some questions took his time again made sure I knew where I was going for a Pharmacy. Very kind, professional, polite. I would highly recommend this urgent care. Having been to many urgent cares in many different places this definitely ranks as one of the top.

Deceptive so they can overcharge - call themselves Urgent Care, bill as a hospital. I recommend avoiding this place. While the sign outside says Urgent Care, they will bill you as a hospital - which generally has a higher copay. We went there for X-rays because my insurance says that there is a certain copay for X-rays at an urgent care. When we get the bill, we find that it was billed as a hospital out patient visit - costing a lot more! This is flat out deceptive! They put huge signs up saying "Urgent Care" when they are not that. I hate it when people decieve me inorder to make money. There is another Urgent Care over on 272 near the CVS (446 N Reading Rd, Ephrata, PA 17522). I'd recommend going there instead.
