Lancaster General Health Suburban Pavilion

I’ve been going to Lancaster General Health Suburban for several years for various tests, including blood work, CT scans, and more. It’s a very convenient location with many services available in one place. The one downside is that you may occasionally encounter an employee with a bad attitude; however, most of my interactions with the LGHSP staff have been pleasant and professional. The atmosphere at LGHSP is calm and mild, with an indoor waterfall that’s quite relaxing. There’s also a nice little café that enhances the overall vibe. The food is grab-and-go—nothing special, but convenient.

My third time at this facility with Doctor Whitmer....who is ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR, PERIOD. the facility itself is clean and very well organized. Great experience all three times. The only complaint I have, and it was with this visit, my first nurse, and I had three, Barbara was very cold ... She left me in the cold room in a paper gown just sitting there for over 25 minutes. Normally they give you a blanket and the remote for the TV just to keep you occupied. Then she was the one who wheeled me out toy car and I thanked her for taking care of me and she just grunted...maybe she had a bad day, but her bad day made my day start horrible. The other two nurses Beth and I believe Isabel, we fantastic, funny and caring so I will give them a " Daisy" recommendation. I highly recommend

I wait almost a month for a simple PT eval and I have an accidental external circumstance that makes me late to my appt by 10 minutes. I CALLED and asked if it was okay to be there 10 minutes late and they said it’s fine. It’s a 25 minute drive and I get there at the exact time they said was fine and they say I have to reschedule. Not only do they lead me to waste almost an hour of driving, but they can’t give me 10 minutes? Ridiculous. Don’t have anything happen to you ever that affects your arrival time, god forbid you’re there 10 minutes late and we can skip the dumb doctor banter they get paid an insane amount to do.

I have been bringing my mom here for the past 2 years for dialysis . She loves the dialysis staff, but bringing her here 3 times a week has been hell for me . My mother is in a wheelchair .. an also I have to bring along my now 6 year old special needs daughter . EVERY time I come to drop my mother off , I get harassed by the security for pulling up to the drop off location , running my mom in, and comming back out. The older security lady has fought with me many times , threatening to get my car towed and checking her watch ( it takes me less than 5 minutes to get my mom to the third floor drop her off and come back down )especially in the winter months it’s very hard for me to push the wheelchair from the actual parking lot , which is going up a hill , while also keeping my daughter safe

The fountains and piano provide a calming environment when you are stressed by medical situations.
