Lamun-Lusk-Sanchez Texas State Veterans Home

My visit with my husband Monday was really good. Several other residents kept coming over and interrupting our conversation; which I get it. They are all lonely and like seeing different faces. But I wanted to enjoy my visit with my husband. The staff on the unit saw what was happening and each time they would come and gently, patiently take the person away. They tried their best to keep them away but that would be impossible because no LTC facility can hire enough people to have a 1 to 1 ratio; and that is what it would take. This facility is always clean and the staff are always friendly and are very respectful of my husband.

My daughters and I visited our loved one and all the veterans in the MSU wing for Veterans Day. The staff members are kind to the residents and keep them looking clean and sharp. The building was also clean - honestly, I’ve never seen it otherwise. Our loved one receives attentive care at the Lamun-Lusk-Sanchez TSVH. I am indebted to his CNAs and all the support staff for their patient and compassionate care. Thank you!!

I love the friendly staff and the co-workers. They collaborate and cooperate with each other.

All of the staff go the second mile in their treatment and respect for the veterans in their care. Cleanliness, safety and courtesy in meeting the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the residents. Thank you.

We're relatively new to this facility. We admitted my 95 year old uncle here the middle of May this year. The facility is very clean and my uncle tells me the food is delicious. There are several nice sitting areas outside to take in the scenery and visit other veterans! The office staff have been very helpful and all the staff on the floor are courteous and helpful. I'm very grateful we found this facility!!
