Lake Road Animal Hospital

I have been taking my dogs to Lake Road for many years and feel I have the best people taking care of my "kids". The staff and veterinarians of Lake Road are especially caring and kind to my dogs, always. I even believe my Westie, Storm loves going to see her friends there as much as anything. The girls are so caring with her too.

I wrote a previous review that I'm having to refute. Lake Road saw my dog for years and it was a wonderful experience up until his final visit. The decision was made to put him down and I asked ahead of time for an estimate so I knew what I had to figure out financially. I never received the estimate. My dog usually had to be medicated in order to be seen but we were unable to do that due to his deteriorating hind legs,he was a large boy and getting him in a vehicle medicated by then on my own was impossible. I was assured that he would be given something to help keep him calm before we even entered the building. This was not the case.In my experience, practices will make an effort to make the final moments on this earth for our pets as peaceful as possible,the office will be quieted as mu

We have a great dane who's name is Georgia,and they are so good with handling her.She came from an abusive home and then to a shelter before we adopted her and she does not like her feet touched.These ladies here are so gental with her and make her comfortable.Thank you all so much for being so great with Ms.Georgia
