Gerould's Pharmacy

Horrible.. I will be reporting this pharmacy to my insurance and to the Board of Pharmacy. I dont know if its because they cant keep up with the influx of former rite aid customers or what. But I was told on the phone back about a month or so ago, when rite aid closed, that I needed to bring my insurance card. No problem. I showed up(with my insurance card) and told the cashier my name and birthday. She told me my prescriptions wouldnt be available until October, and that I needed to call my Doctor if I needed them. She never asked for my insurance, just jumped right to "Nope. Cant have it for almost 3 months. Not our problem. Call the doctor." So I left, called my doctor, they said everything was fine. So I called the pharmacy and the pharmacist told me they just needed my insurance.... I

The Yelp ratings on here are no longer valid! I switched to Gerould's on Westinghouse Rd, Horseheads, after Rite Aid closed and I'm very glad I did! Their customer service is great! I’ve been treated very respectfully by the pharmacist and all their staff. I highly recommend this family-owned business who go out of their way to serve you!

They have always gone out of their way to help me. A wonderful home town pharmacy.
