Lake Huron Medical Center - North Campus

Needed labs twice. Both times, I was highly impressed with how friendly everyone was and how quick the process was! Melissa drew my blood, and I typically get dizzy and faint, but with her I was perfectly fine! I will be back to this facility if any additional testing is needed. They are fantastic! Thank you so much for the great experience!

I'm so happy I switched my primary doctor. Dr Faruque has been so thorough in all of the testings and everything that I have had to get to the root of my discomfort that I have been having and I am just so thankful to have Lake Huron Medical Center as part of my medical team.

I had a lab order for blood work at the north campus. I went in early in the morning just after 7 am and had the worst experience ever. Rudy the man that was checking me in was EXTREMELY rude. He was just sitting in the office so I walked in to get “registered” he looks at me and says I’m not ready for you I would have called you back if I was. I told him sorry I had never been there before and wasn’t sure what to do. He was so abrasive, short, angry and rude. I can’t imagine someone coming in for blood work and being nervous just to encounter this person- making it even worse. As an employer I would step back and really evaluate why this person is working with the public. Disgusting. I would imagine it’s not his first time acting like that. Totally offended.

My husband and I went to get blood work and the receptionist was rude. She asked for my ID and my information . Everywhere you go tht should be confidential . She barked out questions trying to make me say it out loud for everyone one to hear. I finally gave her my ID and said my address is on that so I don't have to announce it. Then she states very loudly that they don't take my insurance. I said I wasn't aware of this and that my doctor who I just established with sent us here. She said there are signs posted EVERYWHERE! Out of the dozens of papers taped on the plexiglass I did not see it. I also work with the public and maybe she was having a bad day but no one deserves to be treated that terrible for just trying to get seen as a patient.

Edit: Be ready to pay exorbitant fees. They charged me almost $1000 for 2 x-rays that were REQUIRED by urgent care for a referral. They called it "facility fees", and that was on top of the actual cost of the X-rays. No one bothered to tell me about this fee when I "signed the contract". Even my doctor who rents space from them is irritated at the prices they charge, and sends their patients to McLaren for blood work and X-rays. :End edit Not sure why a professional medical facility can't put accurate information on their Google Maps listing, but the NORTH campus is NOT open 24hrs like this listing says it is.
