My optometrist retired, so I found Lafayette Optometric Group through my VSP network and saw they had great reviews. The reviews were right. I met with Dr. Wang who was fantastic - very knowledgeable, thorough, professional and personable, and the office has a good selection of frames as well. I definitely found my new place.

Dr. Z and his staff are great. Visited his office on a recommendation from common friends to get corrective lenses specific for sports. Let them know in advance what you're looking for, bring your equipment to the appointment, and Dr. Z will help make sure you get both a prescription as well as the appropriate eyewear for your specific needs.... that's as bespoke and custom as it gets when you need healthcare services! My home office is down in the South Bay and it was worth the drive to Lafayette to get things done correctly. Thanks!

This is a fabulous practice!!! Dr. Ngo is super smart and great at what she does. She took her time examining my eyes, was very thorough and answered all my questions. I had a number of concerns about my eyes and she talked to me about all my issues with respect and kindness. She went the extra mile to review my old scans to see how some of my eye issues were progressing. The gal at the front desk is great too- very welcoming and explained my bill in great detail because it was the first time I was using Medicare. The gal who did the eye scans before I saw the doctor was very competent and friendly and worked with me to make sure she got the best scans possible. Everything is cleaned and sanitized. I can not say enough good things about this office! From the very first person who greets you at the door to the last person who fits you with glasses are truly amazing. Dr Frank Zheng truly cares and takes such good care of his patients. The entire team is so nice and you really leave happy!! I highly highly recommend!!

One of the best shopping and health care experiences combined! Dr. Zheng was very thorough with my exam eye while his staff helped me picked out a pair of glasses that has gotten me compliments from virtually everyone I meet. Not pushy at all like some of the chains and very friendly.
