La Colonia Medical Center is a special center where patients feel like they are with family. From the drivers to the cafeteria staff, they are very attentive and friendly. The dental service is exceptional. It is a place where seniors feel at home.

Was transferred 3x before I could get an English speaking person and when I did it was like talking to the wall...all Lizbeth could do is listen to her own words. Long story short both of my parents have dementia mother 92 Dad 93...I work and during my lunch break I go and heat up the food for them and clean the house along with giving them the meds... All I wanted was a breakdown of the services provided at La Colonia and the Wonderful Ms Lizbeth persisted that my parents had to come in and that she was not allowed to give over the phone the services they provide....I told her that as soon as Im done cleaning and feeding my parents I go back to work as my time is soley consumed between working and taking care of my parents yet she persisted that all of us had to come in to the office. This place all it does it kill your family. TAKE THEM OUT OF HERE NOW. They were unable to diagnose my family member with cancer until it was too late. If you want to take your family to a place where people know what they're doing take them anywhere else but here.

Because I was born in La Colonia, Pinar del Rio, Cuba, I decided to visit these facilities and found they are excellent. The offer general medicine, neurology, gynecology, general surgery, dermatology, cardiology, urology and most other services. The locations are in Westchester, Hialeah and Pembroke Pines. Will look into becoming a member.
