Kroger Pharmacy

After being at a different pharmacy for 16 years, I begrudgingly came to this one as it was close to my house and at my local grocer. However, the service here is something you would expect out of a fast food restaurant, not a pharmacy. Their operating hours? It's a suggestion. People don't even arrive until after opening time. To which they don't even acknowledge you, they just walk in and take another 15 minutes getting open. Onto order accuracy, yeah, they didn't catch an error and sent out controlled substances at overdose levels, repeatedly. Pharmacists are not willing to assist customers, only acting like we are a burden instead of job security. The rudeness and incompetence emanating from this establishment is ridiculous.

I will be calling about this incident in the morning but the blonde pharmacist that waited on my mother this afternoon that felt it appropriate to say “I don’t care who it’s for” to a woman picking up medication for her dying husband on hospice needs some sensitivity training and should feel ashamed of herself. That patient passed a few hours later, that behavior is never acceptable especially when dealing with critically ill and dying patients. Also if you are a family dealing with a loved one passing I wouldn’t suggest this pharmacy as they don’t care that you lived one is in pain and dying. Lacking compassion is what this terrible human thrives in. I hope she has to experience this pain.

The actual pharmacists aren't too bad, but quite a few of the other workers are rude and don't seem to understand how insurance works. Their automated calling system will let you know you have a prescription, but when you arrive to pick it up, they tell you there is a problem with the computer, or your item wasn't covered when you know for a fact it is. You shouldn't have to try to prove or argue with the pharmacy. They will randomly switch you to generics with no explanation. I've even heard false information directly from one of the pharmacists. It also seems like a clever scheme to get you to browse the store while you wait. If you walk around long enough you'll likely see something you want to buy. Girl with purple hair, I think Stephanie is SUPER rude. I walk up to the window and she picked up the phone, but DIDNT SAY A WORD......just waited for me to talk. Always looks down on people that are picking up scripts, especially if its a narcotic. Theres a couple other employees as well but don't know names. But some of them are sweethearts!! But just wanted you to know, I have now switched pharmacies because the disrespect we get from that kroger.

Stephanie with the purple hair was extremely rude. My mom and I went to get our COVID vaccines today and she was vey rude to not only us but multiple elderly customers just trying to pick up their prescriptions.
