Kroger Pharmacy

The pharmacy staff is so helpful. They will look for deals on your your prescriptions to make them more affordable, and they are so efficient.. rarely a line to wait in! Top notch!

WORST. PHARMACY. EVER! Go to HEB instead! There are so many reasons I will tell EVERYONE not to go to this pharmacy. 1) My doctor ordered an alternative of a drug I'm taking because the original was not covered by the insurance. The pharmacy tech said rudely, "We don't have that medicine. You'll have to go to a compounding pharmacy!" My doctor was very upset when he heard this. He said that he didn't believe Kroger Pharmacy. He now has to call in a prescription to a compounding pharmacy. Now that I'm with HEB Pharmacy, the pharmacy automatically does this for the doctor and then the compounding pharmacy calls you to go over price, dosage, etc. 2) I went in and I was frustrated that my insurance didn't pay for some medications. Extremely kind and considerate staff every time. They know me by name and my health history. They great me by name and actually talk to me about my life and are really interested. Always assuring I understand my medicines and look for conflicting prescriptions. I love the employees and will never change pharmacies.

Always friendly and helpful every visit! They know my name and don't try to rush me away. Best pharmacy I've had in years.

This location used to be really fast, helpful, polite. Lately, I have been waiting inline inside for 10+ minutes without the line moving. No one helps the front person until the line is about 10 deep. Some of the staff has been to point of being rude. Also now if you want to be notified of prescriptions that are ready for pickup, you have to use the store app instead of the old texting. Maybe some of us do not want our medicines shared with the whole corporation.
