Kroger Pharmacy

Whatever pharmacist worked on Labor Day was the rudest person I have ever encountered. He had the nerve to tell me I should have come earlier as he classed the gate on me as I had just gotten there from the ER after my mother broke her back! Way to show compassion. I will be transferring all scripts to a pharmacy that hires kind people.

The two guys I've interreacted with there were great, but it doesn't make up for the woman who answered the phone today when my wife called about a mistake made by the pharmacy. They gave her the wrong medicine. Some customer service/empathy training would likely go a long way.

The staff is shockingly rude and unhelpful. Today I arrived to pick up some prescriptions at a few minutes before 1:00 PM while the entire staff was talking away with another Kroger employee who was picking up her prescription on her lunch break. When she finished I was told they’re closed for lunch and I would have to come back. By the way, Google showed them to be open. When I asked if they could just do mine quickly I they became sarcastic, especially the tall women on the staff whose rudeness reached a surprising level. When I asked why they all had to leave for lunch at once rather than in a couple shifts, she ridiculously asked if I thought they shouldn’t get to eat or have a break - something I obviously wasn’t suggesting. James, the pharmacist, was kind, calm, and patient AND filled my script after they closed!

Huge thank you to Veronica in the pharmacy. Our son had oral surgery with 2 extractions. After 2 hours and countless calls between the surgeons office and Kroger. Veronica had me give her our surgeons office # and she was going to figure out why they hadn’t received his prescription yet. Not only was she able to find out they had lied to us and not sent it in but found out that his surgeon hadn’t signed it and had left. She worked with the office to get the signature and got it filled in less than a 1/2 an hour after me explaining why I kept calling in. She isn’t required to do all of that and I truly appreciate her going above and beyond.
