I'm not very picky with my physicians; however, I went here in January and it was the first time I had left a teeth cleaning NOT feeling clean. I didn't love my previous dentist so I had high hopes in trying someone else. The hygienist who tried to help me appeared to be nervous, uncomfortable, and struggling. When taking x-rays, he had some challenges with the machine and had me drooling on/off with the bite things in my mouth for about 15 minutes. When the doctor came, she was very kind, but they informed me that I had multiple cavities. I had an odd feeling so I waited...I wanted to make sure I wasn't being difficult so I tried a different dentist today after 7 months. They were SO kind, so efficient, and cleaned my teeth so well. I paid this dental office over $600 at the time of service for fillings, thinking everything was settled. Later, I was shocked to find out they billed me an additional amount without notifying me and eventually sent it to collections. No communication, no explanation—just straight to collections. This is completely unprofessional and feels like a scam. I would not recommend this office to anyone based on how poorly they handle billing and patient communication.

Today I had four tooth fillings at Kingstowne Dental Care, and unfortunately, my experience was not satisfactory. After the procedure, I was in severe pain and returned to request a painkiller. The front desk staff informed me that they do not accept walk-ins, and after some discussion, they mentioned that the doctor usually does not prescribe pain medication. I was wondering why the front desk discuss about my medical situation. Despite my distress, the staff hesitated to contact the doctor Gill, and I had to insist on speaking with her. When the doctor finally came out, she also refused to prescribe any painkillers. I tried taking Tylenol, but it didn’t help much. I don’t usually like taking medication, but the pain was unbearable. Yikes, I would highly recommend avoiding this place. The receptionist was horrible on the phone. Very short tempered, was not willing to do her job. I already called my insurance to confirm I was in network. She wanted me to do it again. I told her I could send the information that showed I was in network which was confirmed by my insurance. She wanted me to call again. She wanted them to run it through Availity. Which as a receptionist she should have access to.

I recently visited twice this dental medical center and had a fantastic experience. The staff was incredibly friendly (Dr. Gill/ Lindsay), and welcoming, making me feel comfortable throughout my visit. They provided excellent care and had very reasonable prices. Overall, I highly recommend them for anyone looking for quality dental services in a friendly environment!
