Kings Harbor Multicare Center

My father was at Kings Harbor for a short term stay after a fall and hip surgery. His case was complicated because he was elderly and immobile, with multiple co-morbidities. Fortunately, the entire therapy staff here is excellent, and also empathetic and encouraging, especially Desiree and Jenny. The gym at KH Is large, very well-staffed, well-lit, and well-equipped. The staff on his floor is also well-trained under Nurse Fogo’s leadership. Dr Desai is very patient and attentive. The social worker Corina helped us smoothly transition to and from the facility. The nurses, CNAs, and helpers here are kind, friendly, and attentive. This has been the best care my aunt has received. The staff will call me anytime there is a concern of any kind whether it might be a red mark on her skin or a vaccine they would like her to receive. It isn't a fancy place, and it isn't a place with a fancy reputation. But after seeing many different assisted living and long-term care facilities, I much prefer a community where people follow through with what they say and the staff is patient rather than a place with a good reputation, which often means very little in reality. The people who work there seem content, and they're respectful to each other and to the residents as far as I've been able to observe. Visiting my Jewish friend Rita was a blessing to Joseph and myself she was happy to see us we we so pleased that she was so pleased that she was out and about in her wheelchair. She was not in her bed. She’s receiving her treatment her therapy and she is very she was very happy today. Our friend reported that she’s very happy with her surroundings and the people that work there at the nursing home are very helpful to her and she is so pleased that she is able to go to the church services and go go to different floors with some help From the workers. This is the last month of the year my friend Joe and I have been going to see Rita at the King Harbor nursing home for the 12 months. My mother was admitted in April 2025 to kings Harbor multicare center 2nd floor. This change was very difficult for my mother & my sister and myself. Everyone has been amazing from the Security guard (Blue) to the staff, nurses therapist etc . My mother loves the staff but is close to one that I notice, Ms Gooden she has been great . The manager on the floor is amazing Mr Cummings. Also, my mother's social worker Viviette is always helpful and understanding. Thank you all for making this extremely difficult time a little easier. My sister & myself really appreciate it!
