King Soopers Pharmacy

This place is fantastic. I wasn't in their system because I hadn't previously filled a prescription there. However the pharmacy technician was very quick to download my information, pull up my insurance info and get the pharmacist to fill my prescription within 15 minutes. They worked together in tandem as an well oiled machine. They offer FREE FLU SHOTS TOO.as well as many other immunizations There was a gentleman selling high quality and discrete hearing aids too. All the staff were kind and considerate. There was plenty of hand sanitizer available at the windows, sneeze guards, all staff and customers were wearing masks too. Never get your prescriptions from king soopers. Often the pharmacists have been rude and have given me misinformation about when prescriptions will be available. I switched pharmacies after they overcharged me by over $100 on a single pickup and when I called asking about a refund they said they can't reprocess alternative payments after 7 days. Come to find out they've been overcharging me for years to the tune of thousands of dollars. Go somewhere else for your prescriptions.

It takes a lot of entitlement to ask me if I took all of my prescription "already". It's 100% none of your business. Then when I ask about transferring it to another pharmacy (because the refill dates in my profile are always wrong until the pharmacist actually looks at it) I'm told "you ALREADY transferred it once", in a tone that implied that I did that for some nefarious reason. The entire medical industry needs to back way off with the "drug seeking" attitude they give EVERYONE who has a controlled prescription. It's entitlement at it's worst and I'm sorry you feel powerless with a lowly job but cut it out with the power tripping, stop making assumptions, and mind your own business. I've been using this pharmacy since 2015. I enjoy most of the employees and several of them have been working there for a while now. Over the years it's been pretty hit or miss with them. Some days everything seems to be running smoothly and I'm in and out promptly. On the other hand, I have been there when there are 8+ people in line and employees don't really acknowledge customers. I've had issues where my prescription wasn't ready when they said it would be and I had to come back. I've had issues where my prescriptions wouldn't be filled 'because there was a change in my insurance'. However, I have also received text messages indicating my prescription was filled and ready for pickup and reminder texts too. Idk if I'd recommend it but I don't have any major issues with them.
