Kindred Hospital Tarrant County - Arlington

I came in the other day and my loved one had snot coming out of his nose and trac and it was absolutely disgusting. The nurse ran out of the room when I came in. The respiratory lady came and asked me how my day was and I told her I was not happy with the facility. I usually come everyday or every other day and they were doing a good job. Which tells me if you do not come check on your loved ones they will just do them any kind of way which is horrible. I took him a bath and he was really dirty. The nurse tells me that they just took him a bath, I went to the trash and showed them all the dirty wipes. Like come on now. If you love your loved one and want them to get better you have to literally see them everyday. I’m mean basic things like cleaning a patient’s Face is so simple. How can so

Back in September of 2025, my 80-year-old father, Kenneth, stayed at this rehab for almost 3 months before finally passing a month later. My father had been in and out Arlington Memorial Hospital 8x's with pneumonia before staying at Kindred. It was hard enough for him to not be home, but he always mentioned that the staff was kind and enjoyed talking to me about how everyone there was helpful. After months of being at Kindred, I hired a mariachi singer to play and sing for him as a surprise for his release. The team was ecstatic in helping me with this surprise and helped coordinate his timing and execute the experience to its highest potential. Do not admit your loved ones here. They rarely respond when a nurse is called, they bicker and yell amongst themselves and can be heard clear down the hallway. Talked down to patients and visitors and couldn’t be bothered to even act like they care. My dad had an accident during the night in his sleep and sat in his feces for 4 hours while he waited for help. Incredibly unprofessional staff and easily the worst hospital I’ve had the misfortune to know/ experience. Avoid this hospital if at all possible.

They treated my mother like a burden. Some, not all, nurses were rude to her and family members. My children and I overheard a couple of nurses complaining about having to clean up after a few patients including my mother and they discharged her even though she still had the infection she was there to have taken care of. Would NOT recommend!

Don't let how the facility looks on the outside fool you. There are caring staff on the inside and most have worked here 10 pkus years. My dad was at this facility for close to 3 months. The staff is nice! Richard in ICU is the best! I definitely recommend this facility. My family was very pleased.
