Kindred Hospital Ocala

First of I wanted to say how pleased I am with everyone at Kindred. All the nurses was wonderful and very attentive. The technicians was wonderful as well they constantly come in just to make sure I was ok. The speech therapist I seen was so sweet and helpful. The respiratory nurses was also wonderful and helpful with my breathing to make sure I had good breaths. Even Dr. Rao has been amazing. And of course my physical therapist group was outstanding. They kept pushing me and for the first time in months I was able to stand. But one of my physical therapist that really made my day is Donnie I really appreciate is good nature and humor.

If I could give less than one star, I would. My family has experienced multiple preventable losses connected to this facility, and after recently reviewing other public comments, it is clear we are not alone. What happened to my mother here still haunts me. She was admitted with complications from cancer treatment and was placed on the Kindred floor instead of ICU, despite having a fever, rapid fluid retention, and a clear need for monitored medical care. She was never hooked up to IV fluids, was not properly nourished, and developed a severe bedsore. For days, she was essentially left without the basic support any patient deserves. It took another hospital intervening before Kindred finally moved her to ICU, and by then, the damage from neglect was irreversible. She passed shortly after

I just met Selma a nurse at Kindred. She is amazing one of the best nurses I have had after 6 months of being in the hospital. I cant say praises enough she is wonderful

My wife came in on a ventilator, very sick and after working with the rehab staff she is improving rapidly. Teresa is an excellent professional speech therapist. And the physical therapy team (Donny & Jannette & Jackie ) have gone above and beyond. Omar is amazing and a great listener. The nursing staff has been friendly and attentive. Special shoutout to Nairah, King James (Jean) - he's incredible. Special thanks to the CNA's - Cynthia, Yoly, Ingrid, SU & RoseMary, little Kim, and more.
