I was a client for 13 years, basically my dog’s entire life. When Dr. Basta was there, this place was something completely different: professionalism, common sense, and actual care. Since he left, everything went downhill. If you’re ready to be robbed politely, with white gloves and a smile, this is the place for you. They don’t see pets here — they see invoices. A simple injection can easily turn into a $1,000 “treatment”, no blinking, no real explanation. Dr. Victor Soler seems to have a special talent for turning basic situations into expensive procedures. I brought my puppy to Kind Animal Hospital for his first visit, and I couldn’t be happier. From the moment we walked in, everyone was so warm, gentle, and caring. They treated Milo like he was their own, and made both of us feel completely at ease. The vet took the time to answer all my questions without rushing, and you could really tell they love what they do. Milo left wagging his tail and I left feeling so grateful. A very “efficient” group of professionals when it comes to charging, but surprisingly flexible when it comes to accountability. I was required to have blood work done for my dog prior to a dental cleaning procedure, which I paid for without hesitation, understanding that an animal’s health should come first. However, they later decided—entirely on their own—that the procedure could not continue at their hospital. The result: the procedure was never performed, and the money was never refunded. Apparently, ethics only apply in one direction. There was no consideration for the animal, no respect for the client, and no acknowledgment of the simple fact that a service was charged but never provided. I am very pleased with the staff. They have been very polite, and they really love dogs and cats. Dr. Soler is an excellent professional. He goes right to the point and explain the current situation with detail. If you have a pet that needs a veterinarian, Kind Animal Hospital is the place to go.

The name of the clinic speaks for itself, kind people! They give special attention to my cat who has had chronic skin issues and gets very stressed going to the vet. We just moved to Miami from overseas and took some time to find a careful vet, and we are lucky to have found Kind Animal Hospital!
