Kids First Physical Therapy

Erika was a lifeline for me as a newly postpartum mom in the dead of winter. Her tummy times gave me tangible things to work on as “homework” each week. I thrived on having goals to meet and was so excited to report back and show her our progress. My daughter met her milestones earlier than expected and I attribute that all to Erika. So many people talk about “tummy time” while giving no direction but Erika gave me all the direction we needed. I will forever be grateful for the support she provided me AND my daughter. She truly loves and cares about each person she comes in contact with. I highly recommend any new parent take advantage of her services. We brought our daughter to see Erica at ~3 mo old because she had torticollis which was causing one side of her head to be a little flat, and over time for her to fall a little behind on some physical milestones like rolling over and crawling. Over the next few months the PT sessions helped our daughter go from moderate-severe plagio down to a mild level--a really drastic improvement! And more importantly, she completely overcame the tort! When before she was like a flipped over turtle and got really frustrated when trying to move around, now (at 9 months old) you can't STOP her from rolling, crawling, and cruising! Erica and Kaitlyn are amazing! My daughter started seeing Erica when she was 7 months old and extremely scared of new people/places. Erica was so patient with her and took the time to let my daughter warm up to her. She is now 16 months and has made so much progress thanks to Erica’s tentative and supportive approach. She also sees Kaitlyn for OT and she absolutely loves her. Kaitlyn is so kind and like Erica, takes a supportive and caring approach to working with children. I cannot recommend Kids First enough!

We are so thankful for Erica! She was my daughter’s physical therapist, and she was absolutely incredible. Erica always met my daughter exactly where she was, adapting sessions to her energy, confidence, and needs that day. We noticed a difference in her skills right away, it was amazing to see her progress so quickly! Erica also created a sustainable home exercise plan that my daughter actually wanted to do. She found fun, engaging activities that kept her motivated and made the work feel like play. Awesome experience with Erica and Kaitlyn helping my son. Because of them, we avoided my son having to wear a helmet and he is reaching all of his milestones. Highly recommend.
