KidMed Pediatric Urgent Care - Mechanicsville

I am so lucky to have a KidMed close by in Mechanicsville and I especially like the “reserve your spot” option. The staff are very professional and friendly and we have never had to wait long. The weekend and evening hours are great since my girls always seem to get sick on weekends! And the popsicles and juice they hand out is a nice bonus!

We had a great experience at KidMed Mechanicsville! Our nurse Macy was very nice and Sarah our NP and her nurse were excellent and so patient. They explained everything being done step by step to a very curious 5 year old and helped to relieve her nerves. Thank you so much for your care!

KidMed provided a positive experience with quick service and friendly staff, despite an initial wait. The facility was clean and modern, creating a comfortable environment. The medical team, from the triage nurses to the doctor, was attentive, welcoming and professional, taking the time to explain our diagnosis and treatment options without making us feel rushed. I especially enjoyed know this an autism friendly establishment that has really put some thought into their approach. The overall visit was efficient, and we left feeling confident in the care received. The receptionist directed us to a QR code to submit our paperwork, which I found out you can do the paperwork ahead of time and schedule a time to come in. We had come here often very the years. The staff is always pleasant and genuinely caring. They always take their time treating my son and we have never left with a misdiagnosis. I definitely recommend Kid Med!

We have always had great experiences here, my kids ask to go here even when our pediatricians office is open. The staff are so friendly and talk to my kids not just to me. They always have a popsicle or Gatorade ready, and help us know which pharmacy is open when we need it before sending a prescription off. Candace the NP was incredible!
