My appointment was well worth the drive. Dr. Virgin spent a lot of time going over my medical issues and discussing a plan of action. I left her office feeling confident she can help me. My primary care physician was on target with referring me to see her.

Dr. Virgin has treated me for hyperparathyroid disease, hyperthyroidism and now diabetes. Endocrinologist are among the top knowledgeable specialists. Hormones are a very complex systems in our bodies. I have felt very reassured under Dr. Virgin's care. When you're afraid you want the best care, Dr. Virgin does that. She advises what blood work indicates and what the prognosis is and could be in your future. I fight the urge to hug her every visit. Thank you Lord for sending Dr. Virgin up north to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan January 9 2026 now I have a new diagnosis, EPI. Dr. Virgin has patients with EPI so she was able to explain more details to me. With concerns of other conditions affecting me she is concerned about Hyperthyroidism and it's affects on my heart. Again

I'm assuming if you're here then you already know, and I'm sorry for that, but she is really awful. She sees her patients as $$ and that is painfully evident. She insisted that I drive 45 minutes to her office because she needed to see me face to face to refill a diabetes Rx (no you don't), but even after I did, she showed up 40 minutes late OVER ZOOM! She was in shorts and a t-shirt in her own living room. She "saw" me for 5 minutes and then billed my insurance the whole hour apt. She is rude, arrogant, and completely lacking empathy (great characteristics for a doctor, right?) She is wildly unprofessional. Unprofessional is too professional a word to describe her bedside manner. Do yourself a favor and start looking elsewhere immediately!
