My son was born premature at a little over 32 weeks, the nicu nurses were all amazing. They would text me with pictures and updates when I couldn’t be there with him. Made him little decorations for his room and they explained everything that was happening so clearly and answered all questions that we asked. You can tell some people work for money, but these women in the nicu work because they loved their job. And I grew less scared of my son being in the nicu because of their care.

If I could give this facility zero stars, I would. My mother was transferred to Kearney Regional following a heart attack, and the care she received was deeply concerning from start to finish. There was a complete lack of communication, not only with our family, but with my mother herself. At no point were we clearly informed about test results, what was being monitored, or what the plan of care was during or after her hospitalization. After undergoing a heart catheterization through her groin, her access site was supposed to be checked regularly. After we left for the evening, she was not checked on again. She was required to lie flat for four hours after the procedure, yet staff were 45 minutes late helping her sit up because they did not keep track of time. She had to request assista

I usually would never put a bad review on a medical center but in this case I feel it’s necessarily especially reading a bunch of other bad reviews about their visit to the ER regarding a male doctor. My husband was seen 08/29 in ER for severe eye pain and we knew something was stuck inside as he works construction. The doctor took a quick 10 second look and said there’s nothing stuck in it anymore and prescribed antibiotics drops. He said there’s now a divot where the foreign object was and to just keep using the drops. Husbands eye got worse over the next 3 days as it was Labor Day weekend and got into Exact Eye Care ASAP on Tuesday. Whoever the ER doctor was on the evening 8/16 needs to be fired along with the nurses. A family member was taken there for a head injury. She arrived with blood all over her, running down her face and hair was filled with blood. None of the nurses tried to clean her up. My aunt had enough and started to clean her up herself. She had to help the nurse change her head wrap as she was soaking through it. The doctor came in and "searched" for her head wound and said he couldn't find anything and left as she clearly was still bleeding out. He later came back and said there wasn't a neurosurgeon and needed to be transferred to Good Sam. She then had to wait for transport to get her over there. Family member been waiting for hours in the ER. Doctor's tell them it could be something bad, so need to do tests and imaging. But won't do it until insurance is approved. So give scary possibly, cause severe anxiety, but do nothing until they know they get money first. Lives don't come first at this facility. Same hospital didn't take care of the issue before a year ago said they are not worried about it. Now look. Not thrilled with how they treat people. If it does turn out to be bad news, a lawyer will be in contact from the family.
