I had my gallbladder removed by Dr. Artz. I was impressed with her professionalism. I wondered about her policy to not provide any narcotic pain medication after surgery. I am so glad for it. I followed her Tylenol and ibuprofen protocol for a couple days and when I was having no pain, I stopped all pain meds. I’ve had a great recovery and I’m sure that policy is part of it. Two weeks post operation and I’m doing amazingly well. I would definitely recommend her as a surgeon.

Dr. Artz is fantastic! She fixed my inguinal hernia in 2024 and my umbilical hernia in 2026. My pain was managed with Tylenol and ibuprofen at home, along with icing frequently, which was very adequate to manage my pain. Dr. Artz is also very kind and non-judgemental. She's the only doctor I actually look forward to seeing. My appointments are very pleasant.

Dr. Artz is an excellent surgeon. She is reassuring and made me feel very comfortable about my surgery. She came highly recommended by several local doctors. I am happy that I chose her for my surgery and I highly recommend her to anyone needing surgery.

My recent double inguinal hernia became tangible on my 76th birthday on January 11, 2026. Since I had gone through the same problem in 1995, I considered the possibility that it had recurred. On January 14, I had an ultrasound scan, and the next day, I got the diagnosis! At that point, I started asking for surgical recommendations and got three - all were for Dr. Artz! My wife and I went to a pre-op consultation on January 20; Katie was clear and concise with her instructions.
