I switched to Dr Spicer due to an insurance change, and my family and I couldn't have landed at a better place. They get you in promptly, everyone is so kind and Dr Spicer is just the nicest dentist I've ever meet. I highly recommend Kanawha Valley Dental for kids and adults both.

I visited Dr. Spicer for the first time and was very impressed with him and his staff. My daughter had recommended that I see him after visiting there for her first time recently. I had a very unique situation going on and after a thorough examination, he patiently explained his diagnosis to me. And formulated a plan for treatment. I would also like to say a special thank you to Lee Ann for taking good care of me and mention what a joy it as talking with her. I highly recommend this group to everyone.

Dr. Spicer was great and his dental hygienist was even better. Very nice explained throughly as it was being performed. The only reason I'm not providing a 5-star review is because I overheard one of the desk workers say to her coworker I'm just standing there. What she didn't know was I getting an appointment made with an oral surgeon and the call was performed right in front of me. I had to answer some questions and provide more information to the reception is at the time. So why would I walk out to the waiting area to sit down only to keep coming back to the reception window to answer more questions. On top of that there was a lady behind me waiting to check out I guess she got upset because the receptionist was taking too long on the phone. Once again the same worker says to the women

I was having issues with a crown I got from somewhere else, and they got me in the same day that I called. The staff was so friendly! Dr. Spicer was awesome and explained things to me in a way I could understand. He took his time to answer my questions and talk with me about treatment. His assistant (I can’t remember her name!) was also awesome. She really seemed to care about what was going on and asked questions to make sure she understood what was happening with my tooth.

I was always nervous about going to the dentist until I found Dr. Spicer and his staff. I’ve never had a dentist be as gentle as Dr Spicer is. He always takes the time to explain every little detail to me before doing any kind of work and he’s always making sure I’m comfortable during any procedure. His assistant Shelly is the same way. She’s absolutely amazing!! If you need a good dentist then don’t look past the Kanawha Valley Dental Group in St Albans, Wv because I promise you the staff that works there are the absolute best!!
