Kaiser Urgent Care Fontana

I called for a same day appointment, nothing available =(. Went to urgent care and there is about 100 people in line, just prior to opening on the morning of Tuesday May 24th. Lines on both sides and on one side wraps around to the other department. This is no way to treat people! Upper mgt needs to get their act together. Health care is messed up. Need to prioritize primary care. Get more options for people, maybe another location.

First time here, and I’ll just say that I’d rather drive to LA Kaiser to get help. I came here to take my little brother to urgent care, and I just feel bad that he’s been sitting here for almost three hours. I know that we aren’t the only ones waiting, but I’m a bit confused when people get called in before us and they’ve just arrived in the waiting area. Don’t get me wrong, Fontana’s facility is spacious and clean, but I feel that there should be more staff or an efficient system to help more people. It’s called urgent care for a reason, I’m sure other people feel this way as well.

Had to take mom to urgent care. Ugh! Kaiser Fontana is not what it used to be. I'm grateful to have Kaiser to go to but most of the time staff sucks. Especially the emergency room. Urgent care opens at 9 and if you don't want to spend the day there it's best to get there super early. I've shown up there about 7 and the line was already 30 to 40 people deep. Didn't leave there until after 2 pm. Got here today at 6am expecting a long line and we're the only ones here. 3 hour wait till they open but at least we'll be first. In my opinion an urgent care department should be 24/7. Urgent care happens 24/7. If it's not an emergency but an urgency, then they should have staff available for that. Otherwise book an appointment 2 months out or go to emergency room with incompetent staff who coul

Came to the urgent care well before they where closing and my self along with others where advised that there will be a 3 hour wait. I agreed and started filling out my paperwork and as I turn in my paperwork I’m then told by another person that urgent care closes even if we’re waiting we’ll be sent to the ER. I let the person know that there co worker who they where just standing by advised that as long as we’re here we’ll get seen. The lady then proceeds to state no you’ll wait 3 hours then get sent to the ER. I then express my frustration as that is a waist of people’s time making them wait 3 hours to get kicked out and start all over. If I could give 0 stars I would. I'm not sure what changed in their process, but it's completely diminished their quality of patient care. Took my daughter in more than an hr before closing. The registrar directed me to another "line" where they asked for Medical Record # to look up my daughters info. They asked what was wrong and then they refused to see her because urgent care for peds closed at 6:30. What is the point of urgent care being open of they're not going to even take you in. They should've just put a closed sign on the door before making me waste my time. I ended up having to take my daughter across the way to the ER for something that was simply urgent not Emergent.
