Kaiser Permanente Pharmacy

They have so many people and it's SLOW. Ordered my meds on a Thursday, so I can pick them up Friday, since I cannot drive and would be having a ride take me to an appointment. They didn't have the medication ready and told me it was a 20-25 minute wait. No biggie. The girl who helped me couldn't find my meds because they didnt label them. Then she failed to tell me that one of my medications wasnt ready. They were more worried about Hawai'i day and what they'd bring them to eat. So now I have to cancel the medication I'm missing and order at 24/hr pharmacy because i am not able to pick them up before they close, and i have a ride access in the evenings.

Never on time. My appointment was at 4:10 and I’m still waiting (it’s 5:10) and the girls were leaving and gossiping while we were still waiting in the room. My baby is 1 year old and it’s hard to keep him calm. What’s the point of an appointment if they’re not gonna respect it

Although, the lady with the messy orange hair that checked me in for my meds was rude and condescending. my 5 star review is for the pharmacy technician Diana. 10:14am. I have seen her for many many years at this pharmacy. But today, I was really not feeling well with my nausea. Diana, called me over while i was in line waiting to pick up my meds, she called me over with a smile. Genuine. While she was training she kept communicating with me. She was so patient and kind as I am bit slower with this horrible headache and nausea that makes me spin if i move too fast. Diana, thank you so much for your kindness! It does not go unnoticed!

What’s the point of the doctor’s ordering your prescription if you still have to make an inconvenient long line to “order” your prescription?? Then make another long line to “pick up”?? Waste of time. We should be able to have the option to order the medicine ahead of time to avoid the 1st unnecessary line. Never had this issue at Downey.
