Kadima Rehabilitation and Nursing at Palmyra

The employees literally stole from my mother within an hour of her passing. From when I received the call that my mother passed until I got there (45 minutes) employees stole her purse and her iPad. The director said she would make sure her items were "found" 27 voicemails were left. No a single response back. My mother should have been on dialysis they never scheduled her dialysis. She was there for pt and ot after a stroke. She was in kidney failure. This place is the worst. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this dump.

Sent my dad there for rehab. They have no rehab just an OT person. He was able to walk when he went there and when he left with COVID, pneumonia and now on a hoyer lift unable to walk. They left him in a bed to rot. The food looked like dog food. We had to Uber him food everyday. And then when I tried to get him out I couldn't. It took every connection I had to get him out. State auditors were sent in for the shady practices. Then they slapped us with 55k bill and filed to sue for his house. Do not send your family member there. I only sent my dad there because I wanted him close to me. They will run up bills to take your house!! They don't have proper care or resources.

My mom was sent there from the hospital to the rehab part, she was supposed to stay 10 to 15 days. She only lasted 4. They took 2 days to give her, her insulin, they took forever to answer the call bells. They real don't have enough staff or passionate people. Would come back from dyalis room would still be dirty. Overall not a good place.

I did a few weeks ago put a bad review, I think it might be better since we did get a new administrator, he seems to be nice, but I wish he would have an emergency meeting in the dining room to introduce us to him so we all know who he is. The CNA's most of them are great, they do at times are understaff which puts a lot of stress on them, we had a great memorial day picnic some inside some outside. We have a therapy dog come in once a week, these 2 CNA Matt and John bought their 2 little dogs in which is all the therapy we need, but they not allow to bring them back again because they not therapy dogs it doesn't matter to me because they are so cute, it makes me miss my dog. We do have fun doing activities, I just wish the administrator would get a lot of things in so we can spend some

Facility is extremely dirty!! Broken blinds, windows can not open which is a city code/fire violation. Bathrooms un kept even to the point human body waste is left in it. (Health code violation). Patients fall out of bed then they blame the residents for it. Patients are left to sit in their own feces and urine until they feel like charging them. Listen I can go on & on about his HORRIBLE this place.
