KAC Dental is the best dentist office in the entire Richmond area! They treat you like you've been going there for years and value you and your time. Every single one of the assistants and doctors help you feel comfortable by truly listening, checking in on you, and they're also super neat and gentle. I just had a root canal and crown sizing and it was a breeze (and I'm a nervous wreck, afraid of dentists and needles), but Dr. C made sure everything was perfect and juggled patients seamlessly, and he would take breaks for me when I seemed too tense. The front desk ladies are so helpful over the phone when I had questions I forgot to ask in person, and they made me feel like I was truly taken care of. My first visit to KAC dental went very smoothly. I made the appointment and filled out all the forms online. I was greeted by the staff and was given a panoramic x-ray and a series of bitewing x-rays. Ben, the hygienist, did the cleaning and explained two areas Dr. C would talk to me about. I was given a thorough cleaning. Dr. C gave me a checkup and suggested a water pick to treat one area of concern. Another dentist suggested a crown as did Dr. C. I chose to seek dental services elsewhere because the previous dentist required half of the payment in advance before scheduling the crown procedure and presented a lengthy contract for my signature. This dental office advised me that my mother required a bridge replacement and stated that it was the best treatment option. After proceeding with the permanent bridge, I was never informed of the possibility that the bridge could dislodge or fail repeatedly. Since September, the permanent bridge has come out multiple times. As of December 2025, we are still dealing with this unresolved issue, and the bridge has now failed for a third time. This has significantly affected my mother’s ability to eat, manage oral secretions, and receive consistent care, particularly given her medical history as a stroke survivor.
