Julie Elessawi, DDS - Cosmetic & General Dentistry

Please STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR! My son, a minor at the time, went to her several years ago and got a root canal which she let an assistant partially do on him! It got very infected and she insisted it was just the bite and kept filing down the permanent crown till the post was showing through! His face ended up swelling and from the infection which could have ruptured and that can be deadly. We went to another dentist just a few days after seeing her and she immediately extracted it! After that, Dr. E refused to give us our $250 DEPOSIT back till this day! Originally she said she would but then she sent us a form stating that we would have to sign that we wouldn’t file a lawsuit before she gave the money back and I wouldn’t do that! Oooooofff. I needed a root canal procedure. My face was in severe pain. This dentist dealt with that - the recovery period was gnarly - and insisted it was imperative to give a complete dental evaluation to me. I was told I needed $15,000 worth of improvements to my teeth including filling cavities (one was, apparently, “urgent”) and adding crowns. Subsequently I visited my dentist in my home country to add the crown to the tooth that had the root canal procedure; I have been told I don’t have even one cavity in any of my teeth. Because of this massive discrepancy I cannot recommend Julie Elessawi. I also do not recommend giving general dentistry business to a dentist who specializes in cosmetic dentistry; I think they will repeatedly attempt to make you feel insecure to squeeze lots of

Dr. Julie and her team are absolutely phenomenal, hands down the best dental experience in New Jersey. Dr. Julie is incredibly caring, gentle, and takes the time to thoroughly explain everything, making sure you feel informed and at ease. You can tell she genuinely cares about your health and overall well-being. The entire staff is warm, friendly, and always welcoming with a smile. They’re attentive, accommodating, and happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have. I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for exceptional dental care!

Dr. Julie is an excellent dentist. She has skillfully addressed my dental problems and has a great bedside manner. The office is clean and I am seen promptly.
