Judith R. Shaffer, DMD, PC

I just came from my first visit to Dr. Shaffer's office and I couldn't be happier! The staff were all very pleasent, but Dr. Judy is an utter gem. She tread the perfect balance of chatting about professional and personal stuff. Do to some insurance issues the past few years, it had been awhile since my last dentist visit. Because of this she not only did a complete x-ray of my entire mouth, but took the time to walk me through the images one by one explaining what looked great and what I might want to keep an eye on, which is something a don't think any dentist has done before (they usually just show you the things they want to fix). I will be recommending this office to all my friends and family in the area, for sure.

Hispanics! Documented or not, you are not welcome here. I’m 4 months pregnant and had let the staff know when scheduling my appointment for a root canal. I brought cash to pay in full for my appointment afterwards. The second she took me back she started questioning me about my past dentists and said she needs this information due to people like me not paying for their procedure. I tried to understand and reassured her that I brought all the cash with me today. She then proceeded to rant about people taking advantage of her kindness and I started to feel uncomfortable but I really needed this procedure done. She then asked to take an x-ray and I let her know that I was pregnant, she immediately said “no, this isn’t going to work out”. I let her know that I told her staff prior to schedulin

Been going to Dr. Shaffer for ~30 years and I absolutely love her. My wife recently switched over to her and is just as pleased as I am!

We had such a great experience when I brought my 2 year old daughter here!!! Dr Shaffer made my daughter feel comfortable as it was her first dentist visit ever. She made my daughter a balloon and showed her all the equipment. She let my daughter go up and down repeatedly in the dentist chair as part of a game so that my daughter would feel comfortable. My daughter had a really good experience and will be going back in 6 months. It was so important that we associated good feelings with going to the dentist because my daughter is so young. I am so glad that they played with her and made her feel comfortable. She left the office with a toy duck and dentist coloring book. I am excited to bring her back for her next cleaning. The change from friendly to disrespectful attitude so quickly was simply alarming. Have story, but summary is extremely disrespectful behavior and again the change from friendly to unprofessional behavior so quickly is something I can’t be quiet about.
