Joyful Pediatrics

We’ve had such a wonderful experience with Joyful Pediatrics and Dr. Dovico. She has been treating my son since the day he was born years ago. She is kind, thorough, and truly takes the time to listen and sure both parent and child feel comfortable. It’s clear she and her husband love what they do. We feel very lucky to have found a practice that combines medical expertise with genuine compassion. Her practice model is truly special.

We recently found Dr. Dovico again after receiving care from her previously, and we couldn’t be more grateful that we did. We loved her before, but this new direct care model has exceeded every expectation. Our baby has been sick for weeks, and Dr. Dovico has been relentless in getting to the bottom of it. She checks in regularly, is incredibly responsive, and has been so flexible when urgent needs come up. Having direct access to her has already saved us multiple ER visits, which has been invaluable during such a stressful time. Beyond her medical expertise, her compassion truly stands out. She has sung to our baby during visits, and she even made sure our older son felt welcome by letting him play in her play area while she cared for his brother. We have followed Dr. Dovico to her newest practice and it was a great first visit. Time was spent getting to know us as a family and to listen to our concerns. Though the concept of pediatric DPC was new to me, I'm glad that Dr. Dovico balances evidence based medicine and personalized care. The ease of being able to book appointments with her has been a welcome change from our prior experiences with pediatric practices.

We joined Joyful Peds at the beginning of October. We have enjoyed the personal approach from Dr. Dovico. She is very warm and inviting, and most of all knowledgeable. Since joining, we've had our first initial visit which was an hour long and very thorough- just what you want when you're talking about the health of your children. We've also had to reach out to her on the weekend where she was fast at responding and helpful and another time when we got sick where she was able to get us in within an hour of us reaching out. Her space is very comfortable and clean. My child requested to go back to the doctor so he could continue playing! The pace is so different than a typical doctor's office...so relaxed, calm, and peaceful. Dr Dovico loves to educate families and is so helpful.
