I had prescriptions from another office and was looking for frame options. Mega eye care was one of the places my insurance covers and we were in the area, so I thought to check out what frames they have available.. we walked in at around 420pm. Asked the receptionist if we can just take a look at the frames… with such an awful attitude, no smile, direct cold stare, stating we must make appointment and that they are closing in 20 minutes ( their hours states closing time was 5pm). she was visibly annoyed and repeated we have to make an appointment next time before coming... Here I am, with my boys just simply wanted to check out what they have on the walls. I did not expect such a lecture and made felt so unwelcome at a business. I have gone to Dr Mega for 29 years and even while I moved about 30 minutes away I still kept him as my eye doctor. He is the best and the receptionists are so helpful. I have left MA recently so unfortunately am not able to go back to Dr. Mega which makes me sad. He goes above and beyond with his patients and his care and expertise is outstanding! Thank you for all you have done these 29 years!

Dr mega is the best optometrist!!! However, the receptionist is a real piece of work. She has given me SUCH an attitude every time I have to pick something up! She is so absolutely rude (and not just to me!) I’ve heard her on the phone with a customer (while waiting for my appointment) and she was extremely rude in her responses! I used to love this office, and now I dread going there. Which sucks because dr mega is the best! If you want a great optometrist, definitely go see dr mega! Amanda is great too! Just... don’t expect anything from that receptionist....

I went to Dr. Mega's office today to see Dr. Gayaki for a contact lens exam, after not having gone to an eye doctor for several years. Dr. Gayaki and the office staff were so wonderful! The receptionist working the front desk took the time to check if the office accepted my insurance plan, when I didn't even think the plan was valid at their office. Turns out I was wrong, and they accepted my plan--glad she checked! Dr. Gayaki also did a great job of making me feel comfortable and answering all my questions. The waiting area was very nice (bright and clean), though I hardly had to wait to see Dr. Gayaki. She came out herself right on time to call me into the exam room--I've never had the actual doctor come get me before! After a bit of indecision after my exam, I decided to get some

Don’t trust Mega Eye if you want to see well! I stepped on my glasses and broke them. My prescription was great just needed new glasses. Went to Mega and got the exam. Picked out some frames, and ordered the glasses. When I got them I noticed things were a little fuzzy and not clear. They said I had to get used to them. So after two weeks I went back complaining of the same problem. I specifically asked if the prescription was the same. They took both pairs of glasses back and tested the script of the lenses. I was told by the dr and the tech the prescription was exactly the same as my old glasses and that the old ones were tipped in causing the script not to act the same. They told me to get used to it. I tried them for two more weeks and things were still fuzzy and noticed each day
