Johnson County Healthcare Center

I had breast cancer. Dr. Ruby performed a double mastectomy on May 29th, 2019. He got all the cancer removed. Ever since then I have been completely cancer free. What a great surgeon we have.

I now see why everyone goes to Sheridan hospital. This is a very unprofessional medical facility, doctor's and nurses that do not know what they are doing, I refuse to put my heath or life in this place. And very expensive.

We were in Buffalo on vacation when my daughter developed excruciating pain and other alarming symptoms during the night. Her health insurance had just lapsed and she was terrified to seek medical care without insurance. The staff was amazing. The night nurse, a tough young man who juggled many hats could not have been more compassionate. The physician was patient and efficient. He helped guide our decisions without making us feel bad about the lack of insurance. Kudos to Johnson County for an outstanding facility and staff.

Made a visit to the ER recently because of serious pain in my back. Dr. Tom Richards was so very helpful and even made a "house call" the next day to alert me that they may have missed a kidney stone!! Not their fault. It was read by radiologist in Omaha and the the next day by a Sheridan radiologist!

Mary and Robyn in the ER department are amazing nurses!!! Our friends were in a horrible motorcycle accident and brought to the ER. These two ladies treated our friends and us so well. They are the definition of true nurses. They truly care about their patients. Mary went above and beyond. She is one of the most genuine people we have met. We were so touched by her compassion. We will never be able to repay her for her kindness. From the bottom of our hearts thank you Mary and Robyn for taking such amazing care of our friends. You made an unexpected and heartbreaking day easier to face. We appreciate you so much for being the nurses you are. You ladies deserve a raise!
