Would give zero stars if possible; staff is unfriendly and unresponsive to calls; my daughter has been sick for 2 weeks and I was just informed today that her provider is no longer there. No calls returned, attitude given with call backs. I would not recommend taking your children here

I have been hopeful to receive compassionate care for my daughter but I'm very dissapointed at the way some of these providers speak to parents and their demeaning tones. As a parent of a child who is suffering with potential IBD, I have gone through 2 GI doctors at JH over the past 6 months who are pushing her into every procedure since i started with them. I have said multiple times that she had already had these prpcedures done twice last year by at UMD. We went ED with my daughter and there we completed CT scan that said yes this is IBD with elevated inflammation etc but now MD says MRE is better, so we scheduled MRE, but now they say we also need colonoscopy because it's way better. Meanwhile my daughter is crunched up in pain! I said multiple times she is in pain in the last 2 mon

Just a little human compassion can go a long way. It would have been a first appointment for my son at 10:30am on February 18th, 2025 but we were marked as no-show. He started having these severe belly aches in November 2024 and after a series of other appointments, his pediatrician referred to GI because this was recurring every 4 days and included headaches, vomiting and diarrhea so it is a dire situation. I called the Johns Hopkins pediatric GI and appointment wasn’t until February so we had to wait 2 months. Fast forward to the day of the appointment, I (mom) was very ill but my son had just had another bad episode 2 days before so he needed to be seen so I mustered what little strength I had and drove about 1 hour to Baltimore and got there on time but my gps took me to the Orleans
