I’ve noticed definite improvement from last Spring to my recent stays. Dr. Oakley as always remains a talented, passionate provider who genuinely tries to help his patients. He consided barriers and tries to involve patients where he can. It's extremely obvious he belongs in this profession. During inpatient stays, Dr. Sahir was very attentive, detail oriented, actively listens, asks insightful questions, and demonstrates a clear commitment to accuracy and patient understanding. Dr. Shiesh is calm, and non-judgmental with a reassuring bedside manner; he creates a sense of comfort and safety even during moments of pain or fatigue. All three made me feel more comfortable with neurology and showed me that healthcare can be impactful in a good way. In past visits, communication and accuracy i

I am writing to formally notify you that I am transferring my care total different hospital and will no longer be seeing Ms. Goodman or Mr.McArthur Throughout my time under their care, I have felt neglected and unsupported. While others may praise the doctor, I did not receive the attention or care that I needed. I sought treatment under Ms. Goodman hoping for a more attentive approach, but because she works under or alongside Mr.McArthur, the same lack of proper care persisted. This experience left me feeling isolated and deepened my distress rather than alleviating it. Given these circumstances, I have decided to transfer my care out to a completely different hospital..

I am truly grateful to have Dr. Halima Amjad as my physician at Johns Hopkins. As a specialist in internal medicine, geriatric medicine, and neurology, she embodies the vision of excellence that every patient hopes for. From our first appointment, it was clear that Dr. Amjad is not only exceptionally knowledgeable but also profoundly compassionate and dedicated to her patients' well-being. Her inquisitive nature and intelligence stand out in the complex world of healthcare. Dr. Amjad takes the time to thoroughly understand my situation, navigating the intricacies of medical systems and advocating for me at every turn. She has helped me tackle serious hurdles related to treatment and insurance, which has been life-changing. Thanks to her care and expertise, I genuinely feel that I have an a

I had Chiari Malformation brain surgery here July 2020 during covid alone, my hubby stayed in a near hotel until I was able to travel back home. The staff and nurses were all AMAZING! My surgeon was Dr Jackson.

Light at North Carolina Street is terrible you wait 15 minutes for it to change and its always backed up. Security here is unreasonable and ignorant to you also takes their time searching through everything and wants to criticize everything you do when there's no weapons or threats on you in the first place! Appointments also take forever to get in to see a special doctor for. I'm already looking into transferring services for my son somewhere else. I'm totally done with this place after today.
