I have had several inpatient stays that have involved neurology this year. During inpatient stays, Dr. Sahir, resident, was very attentive, detail oriented, actively listens, asks insightful questions, and demonstrates a clear commitment to accuracy and patient understanding. I was beyond impressed with her. Dr. Shiesh, resident, is calm, and non-judgmental with a reassuring bedside manner; he creates a sense of comfort and safety even during moments of pain or fatigue. Michael Kornberg, an attending is very research backed and makes sure to ask clarifying questions. He has a calm and genuine demeanor. This was my first time bringing my daughter here for seizures and we met with Dr.Lisa Sun who was absolutely AMAZING!. I am extremely happy with the care and treatment we got at our appointment. Dr.Sun is very patient and kind and gave us her undivided attention, she made us feel welcomed and more importantly she was great with my 5yr old daughter. It is very important that a physician be able to come down to a Childs level and really make them feel comfortable and at ease and Dr.Sun did exactly that. Best experience I have ever had in the 28 years of epilepsy Dr Kang was the first to diagnose me correctly along with put me on medication that I wasn’t allergic to and actually stopped my seizures the majority of the time. I like her because she actually listens and takes her time to explain any questions I have and idk she jus wows me. She is amazing. The whole neurology office at Johns Hopkins is great actually. I don’t know why they don’t have more stars.... I mean maybe didn’t always provide the best care but I know with the employees and doctors they have know it is 👍 great !! Dr Kang even walks out on her own to greet me each appointment rather then the typical nurse leading me to a room and sitting there waiting for the doctor to come in. She is just amazing. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

They have the WORST phone service on the planet. It is impossible to get through to them despite multiple calls. Truly pathetic and aggravating
