I just got off the phone with their scheduling department. They won't schedule anyone who has SIBO in their records. Even though my doctor put in a referral for acid reflux. Doesn't matter what you have going on if your records say SIBO. I literally have their health insurance through the military and they told me to try somewhere else. My doctor wanted me to call and double check. I got the same answer. Doesn’t matter what the referral says if you have SIBO on your records.

Very disappointed in John’s Hopkins endoscopy department at the main hospital. Here with my husband who has an 11:30am procedure and it’s almost 1:30pm. Been here since 10:00am. No one updated us. I had to go ask. I was told the staff needs to take a lunch break. REALLY! The nurses have no information and they had to ask the doctor to come out from his lunch break to tell us they are behind due to complicated patients. I understand that there are complications but message you give is the room is not available because the staff had to go on lunch? Have two staffs, rotate patients to other doctors, allow the nursing staff to give frequent updates when there are issues ahead of us. Have a plan that puts patients first. Or just over communicate so you feel like you are valued as a patient. My

They cancelled my appointment without my knowledge and said they emailed me when they didn’t. I did not receive a call About the cancellation. I got to the appointment and it was canceled. They made me sit in the waiting room just to tell me to go home. Worst experience ever. Do not go here.

Five-Year Update on My Eye Surgery with Dr. Albert Jun Hello dear readers! I wanted to provide an update on my eye surgery that I underwent five years ago with Dr. Albert Jun. Time really does fly! I am thrilled to report that my vision is still excellent and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. From the very beginning, starting with the consultation, I felt a deep sense of confidence in Dr. Jun's abilities and expertise. Now, half a decade later, I can wholeheartedly say that my trust was well-placed. It's such a joy to be able to see clearly and enjoy the beauty of the world around me. Beyond Dr. Jun's skill, I want to extend my gratitude to all the staff and members I interacted with. They were supportive, professional, and made the entire experience a pleasure. To anyone consid

Absolutely terrible. Johns Hopkins has become so impersonal with their patient care and overall, our experience with them was beyond disorganized and unhelpful. For an institution that prides themselves on “patient centered care”, they should be ashamed. First, my boyfriend was scheduled for an endoscopy and colonoscopy procedure and received ZERO prep instructions for this procedure until we called them ourselves and asked two days prior to the procedure. We then received conflicting instructions via his “mychart” message system and what was written on his prescriptions, resulting in him over prepping for the procedure. Next, a biopsy was performed during the procedures - but did ANYONE call to tell him how the procedure went or the results of the biopsy? No. We waited for weeks with no c
