Words are not enough to explain how the nicu staff, hell the entire hospital and everyone we met during our unimaginable ordeal with our son Parker. He was pronounced deceased at 2:01pm September 23,2025. Due to covid. He was perfectly healthy before bed. 3am mom woke me up almost throwing me to the floor. We arrived at bayview 6 or 7 mins after i opened my eyes. Then transferred to hopkins baltimore Orleans street. Nobody can prepare for what we had faced with our 2 month old hero. The care and support we have recieved when there 9-17 thru 9-25 is unbelievable. Seriously great people. From experience our family felt as if we were part of each and everyone's family that helped with our son. The amount of support and love was nothing like we've experienced before. If I was in a position to

We took my 19mo daughter to the children's emergency room last night after 24+ hours of a nasty tummy bug and concerns of dehydration. I cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience was. I was so nervous to bring my daughter to an ER, expecting her to get rushed through, poked, and prodded. That was not at all what we experienced. The NP, Sarah, was so kind to us and explained everything in such detail, answering all our questions with patience and kindness. She offered solutions that were as minimally invasive as possible, such as a bag to collect a urine sample rather than a catheter, and allowing us to offer water and popsicles under observation rather than just hook her up for fluids. I am forever grateful to everyone there for making our experience as seamless as possible. W

I personally had a great experience in the inpatient and out patient program here. The staff actually cares about you, and does everything with a smile. I am very glad that you did not have to share a bedroom with anybody. The food there was very comfort food friendly and actually tasted nice. You were also allowed to pick your own meals. I actually ate in the inpatient program because of this. For the outpatient program, I personally did not like SOME of the staff members. But most were very accepting and would talk with us about things we both liked. I was in the outpatient program when the election started and ended. I did not like how we were not allowed to talk about it. Even though me and many others were upset and crying. Even a nurse said something was up! We should be allowed to t

My son brought my 5-year-old granddaughter to the Johns Hopkins Children’s ER on Sunday night with red eyes, cough, fever, incontinence, diarrhea, belly pain, dehydration, runny nose, headache, extreme fatigue, ear pain, tachycardia and irritability. She was clearly not well. All they did was give her an IV (7 hours later) only after we asked for it, took labs (hours after the iv) and then sent her home. No real concern. No plan. No guidance. We left with more questions than answers and I deeply regret trusting that her condition was taken seriously. Within 36 hours, her mother had to take her to a different hospital and she is now being admitted with the flu and pneumonia. I’m extremely disappointed and upset. As her grandmother, you expect a children’s ER to respond with urgency and c

Slowest most rude hospital I’ve ever experienced in my life have no real plan of care for my child every shift change they go against everything they have already informed us on I would recommend driving to another state if you have a child that needs hospital care if I could give 0 stars I would. Experience from the PCICU and the PCU
