Dr. Snead and Dr. Maloney were great. My treatment was good. Only reason for a not so good review was billing issues. I paid $8000 for upgraded lenses for cataract surgery along with co-pay. I paid for my other surgery totally out of pocket. My first surgery was August of 2021. I started getting statements for a bill at the end of 2022 for over $500. I called and asked multiple times since we were almost in 2023 what it was for in 2021. I was told it’s in their old system and could not retrieve it. I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Snead's office to get a second opinion about cataract surgery through my medicare. However, Dr. Snead's office scheduled me to see a Dr. Kathleen Maloney prior to seeing him for cataract evaluation. Why? Because of that and some, I later decided that I would go to my original eye doctor for my cataract surgery instead. My original eye doctor did everything exactly the same as Dr. Snead and Dr. Maloney's office when it came to my examination except one procedure, "refraction". Later, it came to my attention that my Blue Cross/Blueshield was billed from Dr. Kathleen Maloney's office for this unecessay procedure "refraction". Unbelievable, I’m a Canadian with a eye drop prescription for my son’s eye drop . Since I can not use my Canadian prescription here in Naples , I had to make an appointment and pay the doctors fee to get the prescription that I can use here I even handed her the prescription I had and explained everything, although she had no knowledge about United States drugs as much as my Canadian doctor!!!! At the end she ordered me 100 times stronger drop. (1% instead 0.01%) When I went to pick it up from CVS after one week , fortunately I double checked, otherwise god knows what would happen to my son's eyes 😡😡if I had rely on doctor.... My Mom had an appointment today and she doesn’t speak English and she asked for someone that speaks Spanish, the nurse that performs her eyes exam speaks Spanish, but was very rude and unprofessional. The entire office was very rude including the doctor except for the lady that speaks Spanish at the front desk. My Mom got home with Hight blood pressure and she was very upset. Dr. Snead’s team behavior is unacceptable especially having patients from different ethnicities and ages that need to be treated with compassion and understanding. Patients are not an interruption of our work, they are the purpose of it. We are not doing them a favor by serving them, they are doing us a favor by giving us the opportunity to do so.

I had to call FIVE times to get my eyeglass prescription faxed to me. WORST service ever. One phone attempt was also really RUDE.
