John Palsis, MD- Beyond the Scope Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine

I am posting this message on behalf of my husband, Daniel. He highly recommends Dr. Palsis as an excellent orthopedic surgeon. Dr. Palsis performed shoulder surgery on Daniel on December 9th and he has pretty much returned to normal in less than 3 months. The physical therapists are amazed at the short time for recovery and attribute it to the doctor’s experience and ability. Dr. Palsis has a great demeanor and provides the confidence you like to see from a surgeon. There’s no doubt he is one of the best orthopedic surgeons in the space coast. His staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. If you have to have surgery, this is the place you need to check out. Additionally, the physical therapists at Beachside Physical Therapy are fantastic.

Absolutely love this practice. It’s a safe, welcoming, and beautifully decorate environment. It is also very easy to locate and get in and out of the parking lot (Melbourne office). The waiting room does not at all feel like a doctor’s office. The exam rooms are clean. Dr Palsis talks to his patients like a person and not in invalid, he takes time to discuss what it is going on. He doesn’t rush to treat just the symptom, he provided relief for the symptom but sent for additional imaging to determine if it was a much bigger issue than the PCP thought it to be. In the end he right and maintained as a patient instead of discharging me but also referred me out to ensure I was being treated by the best individual for the bigger issue which was outside of his scope of practice. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Palsis and his entire team! From my very first appointment through surgery and every follow-up since, I felt genuinely cared for and supported. Dr. Palsis is a fantastic surgeon! Incredibly knowledgeable, calm, and reassuring. He took the time to explain everything thoroughly and made me feel confident and at ease every step of the way. PA Corey Smith is just as amazing! Corey was compassionate, attentive, and made sure my questions and concerns were addressed. Together, they made what could have been a very stressful experience feel manageable and reassuring. The nurses and office staff were equally fantastic! All very friendly, welcoming, and so helpful at every visit. You can truly tell this is a team that cares deeply about their patients.

Dr. Palsis did an excellent job. He was thorough and clear in explaining what was happening before surgery, the day of the procedure, and throughout recovery. He and his staff were professional, friendly, and easy to work with. The result healed perfectly, and I am now back stronger than ever. Highly recommended.

First time patient today for knee problem. Dr Palsis was absolutely outstanding! Walked in with a smile, shook my hand and asked how I'd like to be addressed. Very knowledgeable explaining my condition where I could understand it. Didn't push any treatment and said pain would be my guide. Lovely office setting and definitely glad I found him! Highly recommend!
